This 237 page tribute to past lives was a joy to review. I fell completely in love with the writier's style as she carefully took me from one interesting event to another. The read focused o a hypnotist and clients he was able to take back into past lives. I learned so much about the different lives of these people through an easy to follow format, that held my interest the whole way through. I found the life of June to be the most intriguing because I felt like I was right there with her, and it amazed me how she could be taken back to a certain year and the information would consistentently be the same. I found the pictures added a nice touch and I also thought it was great how the author presented the information that she was able to document. It helped me to see how reputable and clean they were in their process, and hw they kept it as authentic as possible. Absolutely fascinating. I have been terrified of the supernatural my whole life, and despite being scared the whole time I was reading, I could NOT stop. Like nothing I've ever heard or read or seen before. Different from her other books (but probably because it was written almost accidentally because of an experiment like 50 years earlier) but not better or worse. I've read her Three Waves book and it's just as absorbing. Gotta have an open mind. If you're a person who clings to beliefs set by society or culture and you reject most other things as charlatan or voodoo or "new age", you probably will do that to this book, too. But for those of you who love new things or new ideas, give this a try!

Originally my impression was there were 5 lives of different people that would be regressed! But the five lives were all lived by one woman. In each life she was a woman, possessing a differing character...behaviors. I especially enjoyed her life as Gretchen and the miraculous power she possessed as a spirit. Well worth your time , also, most of the chapters tend to be short and mostly conversations so the reading is simple and goes quickly.

I wanted an Instant Pot to be able to cook real food during busy times rather than being tempted by pre-packaged or take out food. A majority of the recipes that I have seen from other source have ingredients like cans of soup or dry mixes that I would never use. Other books also have so many exotic ingredients that most home cooks don't have on hand. This book has so many recipes that use real food and ingredients that I either already have on hand or would also use for multiple recipes. There is nothing more frustrating than buying a bunch of spices that will only be used for one recipe that you may never make again. The book is organized in a way to easily find what you are interested in cooking.

This book has a great array of wonderful meals and desserts that are both simple and delicious! I love the recipe collection and also that she gives the long way of cooking as well. Everything is explained well if you are a pressure cooker beginner or have experience you will appreciate this book. Cool!

Perfect for someone new to Instant Pot, which I am, having had my Instant Pot for a little over a month. The book has so much more than just the wonderfully delicious sounding recipes. It provides information on what and how to pressure cook, how to choose a pressure cooker and how to translate traditional recipes into pressure cooker recipes.This cookbook fits so well into my way of eating -I'm very impressed! All the recipes are so healthy - I haven't come across anything with processed oils. I'm a Nurse practitioner and often recommend this way of eating for my patients - I would definitely recommend this book to them since they so often have no clue what a plant-based diet can look like. Can't wait to start making some of these recipes. Props to the author! Thanks

I bought the hard copy cookbook and it was a total disappointment. Once you open the book, it looks like all of the pages were photocopied back in 1985. Everything is in black and white - even the pictures! The photos stop on page 11 and there are no more pictures for the rest of the 113 page book. The recipes are not very appetizing unless you like Mahi Mahi Chili or Sorghum Raisin Meal.

I purchased this because it had good reviews and I could get it quickly. It also had a lot of recipes. But, when I received the book it was made from cheap construction-like paper that seemed very frail. The recipes were just listed in the book with very little organization. The book was virtually devoid of photographs. I did not count the amount of recipes in the book, but I am not convinced that there were 550 of them. And, the recipes did not seem to be very interesting unless you were a health nut or were opposed to tasty, meaty food. To be clear, I did not try any of the recipes and I did very little looking through the book. I was ultimately turned off by the layout/organization, lack of photos, and the construction of the book. I guess for the price it might be reasonable, but it was not what I was looking for.

This cookbook doesn't even deserve one star. I bought this as a gift but would be embarrassed to give this cheaply made book as a gift. The pages are falling out. Less than 100 recipes. Not sure how you would get 550 days of recipes as stated on the cover. A few black and white photos. Only 113 pages.Don't waste your money. I found a better cookbook at Target for less money since a needed the gift for Christmas.

Horrible!!! Really Horrible and deceiving. Note the cover says 550 quick and easy days of instant pot. I don’t know what kind of math the author uses but it is a total of 89 recipes. Very cheaply made, NOT affiliated with Instant Brand as the picture on the cover may make you think. This looks like it was made at a local Kinkos. Recipes are elementary, rely heavily on Latin food as well as healthy goat cheese, coconut milk, chia seeds. Ugh!!! NONE of this is expressed in the ad. Ridiculous waste of money.

Please ignore all the positive reviews. I suspect they are fake anyway. One is from Oscar Wilde - please. This book is just a rewrite or another Kindle Instant Pot recipe book. The introduction is word for word from a book I previously purchased. Funny how the two 'authors' have different names but the same bio. Also, it's supposed to have common ingredients. The first egg recipe I looked at called for goat cheese and oysters. Uh huh. Keep shopping for a better book!

“Twisted Deception” is very well written and keeps readers turning the pages— “Just one more page then I’ll turn out the light”—not going to happen.Two rapists on the loose, a woman badly beaten in an elevator, a truly nasty dyke threatening a lawsuit, an over-worked woman detective, and a slow-burn love story combine to make this my favorite Isabella novel—she has 12 of them published.My favorite thing of all was that I couldn’t figure out the killer/rapist until Isabella revealed who it was. I love books that keep me guessing.Mystery, suspense, romance and excellent writing combine to make this one of the best books of the year. I highly recommend it.

Just wow! A lot of emotions throughout the entire story and there are chapters that will leave you breathless. Each character has been expertly drawn, the setting vivid, surprises I didn't see coming, there is brutality, a scary revelation and of course there is love. It's captivating how this story unfolds. Absolutely fascinating and intriguing. Highly recommended.

This is Isabella’s best work yet. Twisted Deception has strong characters and a well thought plot line. The closer I got to the end, the faster I read. She definitely has a page turner here. Well worth a read. Highly recommend it.

This book has too many loose ends. The reason Drake attacked Addie makes no sense. The "love story" between Grey and Addie has no development; no chemistry is apparent between them. The arrest of Grey and Addie is unbelievable. Aaargh. Not a great offering and it could have been wondeful had the author paid more attention to the details.

This outing from Isabella features Greyson Hollister and Addie Blake. Greyson is a high-powered corporate executive, doesn’t suffer fools easily, and is distant and known as the Ice Queen. She is mourning the death of her wife three years earlier. Addie is an employee of Greyson’s company. She’s in a relationship with a grease monkey who owns a garage and the relationship is fading. When she is attacked in one of the company’s elevators late one night, she is severely beaten and the cops thinks she’s the latest victim of the Elevator Rapist.The early pages of this book are intense and sets the tone for the rest of the novel. As Addie recovers from her ordeal at Greyson’s home, she must come to terms with what has happened to her and how her life will change. She also realizes how dysfunctional her relationship with Drake has become. As Greyson watches Addie deal with what has happened to her, she realizes she is attracted to Addie and knows she shouldn’t be.In the meantime, the detective in charge of the Elevator Rapist case must find the perpetrator before he finds his next victim.This book is a flawless mystery, a classic whodunit. The tension, which is palpable in the beginning of the book, continues through the book until the perp is caught – and has the reader shaking her head thinking, “I did not see that coming.”Unfortunately, the author failed to create real chemistry between the main characters because Greyson and Addie are both afraid. The reader suspects it’s there, but had Isabella not told her readers, we’d never have known it existed. Luckily, the love story isn’t central to the storyline.If you love mysteries with twists and a book that will keep you awake reading just one more page, one more chapter, read this book now. The author successfully depicts humanity at its lowest point and then offers glimpses of hope that can save and maintain what constitutes a human being. The main characters, although, face evil attacks they overcome the brutality and merge stronger than before. Loved the story, the plot is well developed, and all the unanswered twists are explained. I would have loved a bit more romance between Addie and Greyson but the ending was satisfing. Beautifully written and it apperamt that the author is well versed. It’s a wow read!!!

I have always loved every thing Isabella has written. This story is no different. It's well written with correct info on what someone would go through in the situations as in this story. Though the book does warn the cops are looking for a rapists and there is an attack. It would lead one to believe there would be a rape in the book. I would liked to have seen a disclaimer about the details, or could be sensitive to some people based on content at the start of the book. The detail of the kit being processed Isabella got spot on, it came to life in the words. Such so that I had to fast forward the pages until it was past that part.The build up of the who do what's made this a page Turner. You find people you love to hate, and learn you really can hate them even more. This book really does live up to its name.

I did prefer this book's straightforward formatting to the previous book. But . . .in my opinion, portions of the book are not age appropriate and overly graphic. I could MAYBE see giving this book to a 14 year-old child who is about to enter high school. However, there were a couple of issues I had with this book that really turned me away from it. The constant references to sexual activity being "pleasurable" and "feeling good" were a bit too much for my taste..And it is a running theme throughout this and the preceding book in the series. For example, this book discusses orgasm and both couples bodies "trembling." For an 11 year-old? Really? There are also detailed discussions on breast size (is bigger better?), oral sex, and incest. You be the judge. I am returning it in search for something a little less descriptive for an 11/12 year-old, where the authors aren't discussing "pleasure" on every other page. (Geez, enough already - I get it, but you go overboard and then you tell them to wait?)

I appreciate the effort. However, as my husband put it, this is somewhat like pornography for children. I purchased two of the books in the series, and found the material to be inappropriate, and at times too graphic. My teens do not need a description of oral sex, in order to know that it constitutes sexual intimacy outside of marriage. And my 10 year old does not need to know that an adult (pedophile) derives pleasure from touching a child's genitalia. Teaching children healthy physical boundaries should be the emphasis, without disturbing them.

I have all 4 books (The Story of Me, Before I Was Born, What's the Big Deal, and Facing the Facts) I have a 12, 10, and 5 year old. I have read books 1 & 2 to all 3 children. I gave my older child book 3 to read himself and will give him book 4 when I feel he is ready. I like knowing I am giving them the tools they need to live in this world. I looked through many books before deciding on this set. I am happy with these 4 books and recommend them if you are looking for information based on Christian beliefs.

Great book and was recommend by pastor. I would read it first and leave some stuff out depending on how mature your child is. Fantastic book an uses scripture and science.

This book was very helpful in having the "talk" It is written from a biblical perspective and explains God's design for sex. Would definitely recommend this book.

GREAT Christian-based series of books to teach the "facts of life" to children in an informative, non-intimidating way.

So thankful for this book. I bought this one and the level below it as well. It explains things in a way a child can understand without making it awkward for the both the child and parent. My favorite part is that it includes why waiting is so important. And why God cares about it.

My son was getting very curious and this book satisfied all of his questions when I sat down and had "the talk" with him.

I can't say enough about this book. So easy to read. It took me 2 days to read it!Little background about my kid's sleeping habits: I got "lucky" with my first being an amazing sleeper and my second definitely gave me a hard time, especially her naps at a young age and then when she was 5 months old she was getting sick so much her naps and nighttime sleep were awful. I literally read every book out there to get her to not wake up 3 or more times a night. They didn't work! Most other books I read were so hard to read and that made it even more stressful!After reading Brad and Greta's book it was the extra little boost I needed to get my daughter to sleep better. She is 10 months old and just started sleeping through the night with great naps! I wish I had this sooner, but I'm glad it's available now and would recommend this book to any new mom out there!

My last day child was born within a few days of their last child and I was able to learn even more as they were going through the newborn sleep phase right then!

My 4 month old was waking anywhere from 1-4 times a night, and within one week of me implementing the things from the book, my little guy was sleeping from 7:30 pm- 7 AM with one dream feed at about 9:45!
