Let me start by saying THIS IS THE GIFT OF THE YEAR! hopefully my peeps aren't reading this review because they are all receiving a copy from me. Young women, young girls, all ages - this book has inspiration and thought provoking subject on every page. It compiles and sources quotes from women. It includes women from a variety of different backgrounds, both historical figures and those still alive. I am so excited to share 'Beautifully Said'.I got my pre-orders this week!! Makes for a wonderful book to pick up for great moments of inspiration.Can't wait to gift this to my 15 yr old granddaughter and many other very special and ever so strong women in my life!P.S. Kudos to your art and design team for coordinating with my breezeway decor. LOL
This book is so beautifully presented, one can get lost in the aesthetics before even reading the very meaningful content. What a celebration of women....their creativity, their intelligence, their understanding of the human condition and clearly the values women set forth and share. The quotes offer content for multiple situations and I can't imagine an inspirational talk, a political speech, or a presentation without using one or more of them. There is no other book quite like this one and it should be on the shelves and/or coffee tables of teenager, college gals, career women, mothers, grandmothers, and all of us. I plan to give it to many! Kudos to the authors and book designers.
When I first saw this book I was almost disappointed thinking "so what another book of quotes" and then I began to read it! I was blown away on the brilliant format and the amazing stories for each quote in this book! I sat and read the entire book in one seating! Fascinated with some of the information about women I knew and equally as intrigued of the women featured who I never heard of. Each year I gift my favorite book to all the women in my family. Beautifully Said will be in all their bookshelves!
I am a quote collector. My walls at work are covered in quotes. I am always looking for something to inspire me or my students and this book is truly inspirational. I strive to be authentic in the quotes I use and I always hesitate to use a quote when I am unsure of the source. The ladies at Quotabelle have done all the hard work for me. The quotes are organized by category (She Gives, She Teaches, etc.), with a brief biography of the source, providing context and content in a visually appealing style. The best part -- the quotes are by women, only women, from all walks of life. There is truly something for every situation in this book. The pages are so beautiful, I think I may need another copy so I can frame some pages for my office.
